Karaite Judaism

Here is the second set of pictures from our tour of the old city.  First was a picture of the map of where the wall was in Jerusalem and where it is today.  The next picture is a excavated section of the old wall. The next two pictures are of the Karaite Synagogue in the old city.  Then we the mosque above the section of wall from the second temple period.  The entrance and exit to the Western (Wailing) is shown to the right of the picture  Then we have the Western wall complex and the wall is right below the gold dome in the back ground.  This is very interesting because the wall is the retaining wall of the temple mount and it not any part of the temple.
