Here are some of the pictures I took during the Aviv Search. Most of what we found was flowering stage Barley, the was one field with milk to early worm stage barley. but the land was not in a stage to call it as Aviv in March. So this was a intercalated year. The pictures here are optimized for loading.

1st to 3rd (?) We stopped here for Nehemia and Ruth to give lectures on the searching for Aviv and recognizing it.

Nehemia gives lecture on History of Aviv searching from Tanakh, historical documents, and Talmudic sources.	Again visible anthers indicating a flowering stage.	The Jordon Valley has a no mans land, so you need to read the signs. We searched deep in the fields where we found this sign.

This was as far as we could go.	Day 2 Looking in the Negev but first Breakfast	If you look closely at this photo you will see why it is important to view for spraying. Herbicide was sprayed on the roadside and leeched to the filed cause immature sheaves to dry out before seed development.

We stopped in Ofaqim area and searched also.	Ruthanne gives us a lecture on the agricultural development of Barley	We made a side trip to visit Sederot.

Here is the spot where a man was killed by a missile there is a paramedic's glove still in the small crater. This was Saffir College.	This was the memorial. This was about forty feet from the Guard Station and missile shelter.	This is a Bus stop/Missile shelter.

Being this was the Shemittah year in Israel many of the groves were full of fruit still on the trees.	This has nothing to do with the Aviv search but it is a sign celebrating the 60the year of the restored Nation of Yisrael.
